Tour FAQ

Is this Everest route physically demanding?

The tour is mainly vehicle-based, but the altitude is serious. Good acclimatization in Lhasa before departure is strongly recommended.

Do travelers need a border permit for Everest?

Yes. The PPT itinerary already includes the border permit handling step, and this should be arranged before entering the Everest area.

Can I see the summit clearly from base camp?

Visibility depends on weather. On clear days, the Everest summit and the famous cloud banner effect can be seen from the main viewing area.
